First and foremost, self-centered as it may seem, but I do have words dedicated to myself. It has been so long since I last came by. It does seem like some sort of eternity (in my world), of course. Since when have I tried to step into someone else's world? Selfish? It may seem so, but I have already brainwashed myself to believe that this is for self-protection. Against who I do not know, and have no whatsoever urge or want to know.

Then as a tribute to my neverending train of thoughts, I have concieved the very idea that humans are like.. Garlic. They are made of layers and layers and layers. And to know what exactly is on the INSIDE. You have to peel them slowly. One layer by layer. Slowly and steadily. Along this painful and extremely long process, there are those.. Tears. Those heartbreaking moments. Only through this unbearable journey do you get to the core. The truth.

And that's when its over. Everything's over. There is nothing to see. Throw away the garlic I say, it's rotten! With the anger turning into grief and regrets, and its a vicious cycle, feeding on nothing but these saddening thoughts and energy to want to live, its of no wonder that I'm tired.

And I love the fact that everything's going to be over soon.

Everytime I try to cheer people up,
I try, But then I get diao-ed, I get whats with you? I get scolded, I get a HUH? Face, and also in return I get some hurting words that they probably don't remember saying cos they had a horrible day and they have all the right in the mortal world to curse and swear at people who doesn't have a problem getting cursed at.

Everyone has horrible days, thats ok.

(Then don't take these other people for granted, don't take what they do for granted. At they very least, say a thanks, but if u say thanks after scolding.. HA.)

And if you have such a bad day everyday, you are probably the one with the problem.
Go take a pillow and cry into it.
Don't spread your unhappiness around.

We are constantly re-arranging ourselves. arranging things, appointments, meetings, objects, words, sentences, language, food, flowers, shoes, clothes, furniture, interiors, things in drawers, in cabinets. Arranging is like breathing the air around you but arrangement also goes beyond death. Arrangements for funerals, for a coffin, for a tomb space, receiving flower arrangements every year on your death anniversary. After thirty years, your bones get dug up from the grave, re-arranged to another place… Directed by Atelier HOKO, this exhibition will showcase the findings of arrangement through the eyes of 14 international artists’ and designers’ inquiries into the behaviours of our everyday.
